Ten-year-old Richard Garbett, from Shropshire, had suffered from chronic asthma since he was 18 months old. The day he met Diana Mossop changed his life, according to his mother Chris.

Richard could barely climb the stairs at home, couldn't do PE and was called names at school. He's a very shy, sensitive child and really felt it. He was on steroids for his asthma, had been in and out of hospital on a nebuliser and used inhalers several times a day.

Without us having said a word, Diana said she could tell by using kinesiology (muscle testing) and by the colours Richard was wearing (blue and green) that he was severely asthmatic. She gave him two flower formulae — one for breathing, one for recovery — to take twice daily. Richard stopped all his medication that day and four weeks later completed a seven-mile hike up a mountain. Six months on, Richard plays football and whereas he previously had difficulty hitting 100 on his asthma peak flow meter, he's now up to 350, which is normal.

Phytobiophysics has given Richard back his health and confidence and he recently summed up his feelings by saying: "I used to cry inside, but now I laugh because I can do all the things my friends do."
